This project was designed to create a warm and contemplative atmosphere within a restrained minimalist structure.
Built upon a calm white-toned foundation layered with natural wood textures,
the space was carefully designed to emphasize stability, comfort, and emotional focus.
The overall interior minimizes unnecessary decorative elements, allowing the structure and light itself to define the atmosphere of the space.
Rather than relying on visually overwhelming details, the design focuses on balance, openness,
and intentional emptiness so that attention and emotion can naturally gather within the space.
The front area serves as the symbolic focal point of the project.
The dimensional cross structure combined with soft indirect lighting creates a warm and serene atmosphere throughout the interior.
The illuminated cross subtly expands beyond its architectural
form, becoming both a visual centerpiece and an emotional anchor within the space.
The textured wall finish surrounding it reacts softly to light, creating natural shadows
and depth while adding richness to the otherwise minimal white composition.
The podium and furniture were custom designed with natural wood materials to maintain harmony with the overall tone of the interior.
The warmth of the wood and the solid architectural proportions bring stability and softness to the space,
while restrained detailing allows the natural texture of the material to stand out organically.
In particular, the podium was designed not only as a functional element,
but as a sculptural centerpiece carefully balanced in proportion and form.
The seating layout was planned to balance openness with concentration.
Wooden benches were designed to integrate naturally into the overall atmosphere of the space,
while subtle curved details soften the rigidity often associated with traditional seating arrangements.
The circulation and alignment of the seating were carefully organized so that visual focus naturally flows toward the front,
creating an environment that feels calm, comfortable, and immersive.Lighting was also treated as one of the key architectural elements of the project.
Rhythmically placed downlights and pendant lighting create a balanced brightness throughout the space,
resulting in a contemporary atmosphere that feels neither too heavy nor overly dramatic.
The combination of indirect lighting and focused accent lighting enhances the depth of the interior while allowing the atmosphere to shift naturally throughout the day.
This project was designed not simply as a functional worship space, but as a place where atmosphere itself becomes part of the experience.
A space where minimalism still feels warm, where simplicity feels timeless, and where people naturally want to remain longer. At StudioAnna,
we believe that balance, light, and materiality are essential in shaping emotional connection within a space,
and this project was completed with that philosophy at its core.
